Our Vision & Mission
Promoting Public Health
Vision Statement - Innovative leader in bridging public health research and practice.
Mission
The Minnesota Institute of Public Health promotes public health by collaborating with communities to create and provide innovative and culturally appropriate prevention services and products worldwide.
Founded in 1972 as a nonprofit organization, MIPH applies public health research and programming services to communities through project work commissioned by federal and state agencies, foundations and other groups. We do this through the special skills, credentials and expertise of our 35 dedicated employees and our active network of consultants in public health, public safety, civics, community organization and training. Our staff includes public administrators, public health specialists, educational administrators and teachers, finance management specialists, technology, information communications and graphic design specialists, research scientists, community organizers, and program evaluators among other areas of expertise. MIPH remains a private company with a public interest.
